What is a non-traditional trade? 

A non-traditional trade is a field of work where women make up less than 25% of the workforce. This currently includes areas like Electrotechnology, Engineering, Automotive trades, Carpentry, and Horticulture. 

Thanks to our Anti-Discrimination Exemptions, we can offer female-identified apprenticeships and traineeships, allowing women the opportunity to enter non-traditional trade industries and achieve their career goals.
