We make achieving your education and career goals easy, with a number of NSW Government funding programs available to reduce or remove course fees for eligible students.

Smart & Skilled
The Smart & Skilled program helps people in NSW get the skills they need to find a job and advance their careers. The NSW Government contributes to the cost of each course with the student paying the balance. You may be eligible for Smart and Skilled Funding if you are:
15 years old or over, and
no longer at school, and
living or working in NSW (or an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person living in specific NSW border areas), and
an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen.
At the time of enrolment, you will be asked to provide ID, Medicare number, USI, proof of Benefit, Proof of Visa Type (if applicable) and CRN (where applicable). Please note that you can be asked to provide evidence to support your eligibility at any time.
Adult & Community Education (ACE)
The ACE Program is funded by the NSW Government to assist learners who need extra support or assistance with their education. If you meet one or more of the following criteria, you may be eligible for ACE funded training:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Living with a disability, or you are the child, spouse, or partner of someone who has disability
- English is your second language
- Experiencing difficulty with reading and writing, maths, and/or digital skills that are preventing you from studying or gaining a job
- Receiving a Centrelink benefit or you are the child, spouse, or partner of someone who receives a Centrelink benefit
- 15-24 years old, no longer at secondary school, and experiencing barriers to studying or getting a job - registered home school students may apply
- Experiencing significant hardship that can be verified by a government agency, medical professional, or relevant support agency
- Experiencing barriers to completing study or enrolling in a course
Targeted Skills for Small Business
The NSW Government's Targeted Skills for Small Business Program will deliver targeted short workshops for small business owners and employees of small businesses who want to better understand how to use the latest technology to improve their business operations.
You may be eligible for Targeted Skills for Small Business funding if you are:
15 years old or over, and
no longer at school, and
living or working in NSW (or an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person living in specific NSW border areas), and
an Australian citizen; or a permanent Australian resident; or a New Zealand citizen; or a humanitarian visa holder or a partner visa holder whose sponsor is a humanitarian visa holder.
To be eligible for subsided training under this Program you must:
Be an owner or employee of a small business with less than 20 employees, or
Turn over less than $2 million annually.
