UEE22025 Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start).

Students will complete the following units of competency:

CORE

• UEECD0007 - Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
• UEECD0009 - Carry out routine work activities in an energy sector environment
• CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
• UEECD0021 - Identify and select components, accessories and materials for energy sector work activities
• UEECD0038 - Provide solutions and report on routine electrotechnology problems
• UEECD0046 - Solve problems in single path circuits
• UEECD0052 - Use routine equipment/plant/technologies in an energy sector environment
• UEERE0087 - Provide basic sustainable energy solutions for energy management in residential premises

ELECTIVES

• UEECD0008 - Carry out preparatory energy sector work activities
• UEECD0019 - Fabricate, assemble and dismantle utilities industry components
• UEECD0020 - Fix and secure electrotechnology equipment
• UEERL0001 - Attach cords and plugs to electrical equipment for connection to a single phase 230 Volt supply

To be eligible for this training under the NSW Government's Smart and Skilled program, you must be:

• 15 years or older at the time of enrolment
• Completed year 10 or equivalent and no longer enrolled in secondary education
• Living or working in NSW
• An Australian citizen, permanent resident, Humanitarian Visa holder, or New Zealand citizen.

This training is subsidised by the NSW Government. Eligibility criteria applies.

If you are not eligible for a fully funded placement, course fees are as follows:

• First Qualification - $1,020
• Second Qualification - $1,220
• Concession - $160

A student who falls into one of the below categories will qualify for fee-free training:

• Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person
• Person with a disability
• Dependant child, spouse or partner of a recipient of a Disability Support Pension
• Refugee or Asylum Seeker (and eligible partners) – for training up to and including Certificate IV
• Recipient of a Fee-Free Scholarship – for training up to and including Certificate IV
