Secure Your Workforce For 2026.

Secure your workforce for 2026

The perks of partnering with Zeal Futures.

As a not-for-profit Group Training Organisation (GTO), Zeal Futures is dedicated to providing high-quality apprenticeship and traineeship programs and investing in the future workforce of Australia.

We understand the complexities of the vocational education and training (VET) landscape for employers – the administrative processes for recruitment and onboarding, supervision requirements, training enrolment and alignment with on-the-job duties, WHS and injury management, and much more.

What is a GTO?

A GTO is a business that supports employers to hire an apprentice or trainee. Essentially, you brief us with what you’re looking for, and we do the work to find a suitable candidate, recruit and employ them, enrol them in formal training, and ensure you’re set up with the knowledge and resources to support the employee throughout their apprenticeship.

So, what does Zeal Futures offer for host employers?

We manage the process for you from recruitment to completion, helping you to focus on your business while still collaborating to ensure you’re getting the best possible service and support.

Don’t get bogged down by paperwork.

Throughout the process, we take away the administrative burden of recruiting, onboarding, and employing apprentices and trainees, taking care of all inductions, training enrolment, and employment contracts to help you focus on training your new hosted employee.

One point of contact.

Your dedicated Zeal Futures Workforce Solutions Specialist is your point of contact for all things relating to your apprenticeship/traineeship program. They’ll help you identify your workforce needs, find the right person for the role, and maintain regular contact with your hosted employee through monitoring visits. These visits allow us to keep track of the employee’s development both on-the-job and with their formal training, as well as discussing their progress with your team to ensure they are meeting expectations, addressing any concerns along the way.

Employees that stick around.

With this extra layer of support, our completion rate for apprentices and trainees is 72%, much higher than the industry average of 54%. Of these apprentices and trainees, 73% are employed directly with their host employer after completing their training.

Employment opportunities for everyone.

Zeal Futures also has exemptions with the Anti-Discrimination Board to allow us to advertise and recruit identified roles specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, as well as women in non-traditional trades. In 2024-25, our workforce consisted of

- 7.6% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- 11.7% women in non-traditional trades
- 6.2% culturally and linguistically diverse people.

We’re dedicated to driving meaningful change and building a more inclusive future for all, while supporting our host employers to do the same.

Safety is our top priority.

Employing apprentices and trainees comes with an inherent safety risk, which is why we have a dedicated Safety department, and many of our Workforce Solutions Specialists are qualified with a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety. As a recognised SafeWork NSW Excellence in WHS Champion with in-house safety expertise, we provide comprehensive safety training and take on all incident and injury management.

Creating success stories.

Many of our apprentices, trainees, and host employers have been recognised as a regional, state, and national level for their achievements in the VET sector. As well as our annual Zeal Futures Excellence Awards, individuals and businesses have been acknowledged at the NSW Training Awards, AEN NSW & ACT Awards, and the Australian Training Awards, such as our 2024 Australian Apprentice of the Year finalist, Rachael Pearson.

Our award-winning team takes a tailored approach, giving you customised support every step of the way. Take advantage of the current GTO Reimbursement Program and contact us to secure your workforce for 2026.
