Course Information.
Overview
This course provides participants with the fundamental skills and knowledge required to accurately measure and inspect components using a range of engineering measuring tools. It is also suitable as a refresher for those looking to update or reinforce their existing measurement skills.
You will:
- Develop an understanding of workplace safety practices
- Gain hands-on experience using commonly used measuring equipment, including scale rules and tapes, vernier callipers and height gauges, micrometres and telescopic gauges, as well as gauge blocks and digital protractors.
- Build confidence in taking accurate measurements, interpreting results, and applying these skills in real workplace scenarios.
Delivery & Additional Info
This one-day course will be delivered face to face at our Rutherford Campus.
It is currently offered as an Expression of Interest (EOI) and will be scheduled based on demand.
This is a fee-for-service program, with no government funding available.
For organisations seeking tailored training, accredited course options can also be discussed for group bookings, allowing content and delivery to be aligned to your specific workforce and operational needs.
